The Quest For Refuge

The work that we did before our interview was essential to how our video would turn out. We had to research where Cecelia came from in order to be able to ask her appropriate questions. And come up with questions that would lead to an overall conclusive message about what she wanted people to know about her story of being a refugee.

Through the interview process we gathered information that would be valuable and most important for telling Cecelia's story. We focused on what was important to her, and would make her message more understandable to viewers. While doing this it was important to stay true to her story and not edit things to make her story different from what it actually was.
